Scientists from the Sanford Burnham Prebys will provide us with some of the latest research in men’s health topics.

Take a lunch break and join us at the JCC or Zoom in for one or all three of these free, brief presentations followed by Q&A. Co-sponsored by the JCC Fitness & Wellness and Adult/Senior Departments.

Join us to learn about recent discoveries and exciting breakthroughs in Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes research, which can affect more than 400 million people worldwide who are currently living with this disease.  Dr. Pamela Itkin-Ansari, a scientist and professor at Sanford Burnham Prebys in La Jolla, will also discuss how she and collaborators are currently identifying novel drug targets to treat diabetes.
