Jeannine Zuber is the Director of Sponsored Research, where she provides strategic leadership and oversight of pre-award and non-financial post-award research administration. She leads the Sponsored Research Office in advancing the Institute’s mission by supporting faculty and enabling the development, submission, and management of externally funded research programs while promoting efficient, compliant research operations across the Institute.
Jeannine has more than 15 years of experience in research administration, with a focus on grant development, compliance, and policy.
Prior to joining Sanford Burnham Prebys, Jeannine held research administration roles at the San Diego State University Research Foundation and The Commonwealth Medical College, supporting diverse and complex grant portfolios.
She earned a Master of Business Administration from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is a Certified Research Administrator (CRA).
