Kevin Nash, PhD, an assistant professor of molecular pharmacology and physiology at the University of South Florida’s Byrd Alzheimer’s Institute, is on a mission against disease. Nash studies a small protein called Fractalkine, which essentially can quiet the immune system, and he’s searching for drugs that can achieve the same results in patients with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
