What: 2014 Society for Neuroscience Meeting When: November 15-17, 2014 Where: Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C. Who:  More than 30,000 attendees from more than 80 countries. Prominent industry leaders, scientists, clinicians, students, and patient advocates.

Sanford-Burnham posters: Nov 15 at 1:00-5:00 p.m.: C.D. Pernia, from the lab of Evan Snyder, MD, Ph.D., professor in the Human Genetics Program, presents “Identification of possible bipolar 1 disorder related brain areas and lithium drug targets via iPSC derived neurons.”

Nov 18, 1:00-5:00 p.m.: V.E. Thaney, from the lab of Marcus Kaul, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Immunity and Pathogenesis Program, presents IFN-beta mediated neuroprotection in HIV-1 associated brain injury.”

Nov 18, 1:00-5:00 p.m.: A.B. Sanchez, PhD, from the lab of Marcus Kaul, PhD, presents Cysteinyl leukotrienes are essential to neurotoxicity of HIV-infected macrophages.”
