Neil Davis Wachsberger joined the Sanford Burnham Prebys Board of Directors in 2026.
Wachsberger is managing director and co-founder of Market Street Healthcare Properties (MSHP), an institutional healthcare real estate investment firm headquartered in Newport Beach, California. Since founding the firm in 2010, he has overseen the development and ownership of more than 70 healthcare properties nationwide, representing over $1 billion in medical real estate investments. Through MSHP’s relationships with health systems, outpatient providers and ambulatory care operators, he brings a firsthand perspective on the facilities where breakthrough research ultimately reaches patients.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Planning and Development from the University of Southern California.
Wachsberger serves on the board of trustees for the San Diego Humane Society and is co-founder of A New Life Charitable Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing dogs facing severe abuse, neglect and abandonment, with more than 10,000 dogs saved to date.
