YOU’RE INVITED: Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month – A Discussion on Local Research & Breakthroughs with Rep. Scott Peters

As we recognize the month of June as Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, my office continues serving the people I represent by holding informational seminars that can improve their lives.

Alzheimer’s is the third-leading cause of death in San Diego County. According to estimates, over 84,000 San Diegans are currently living with either Alzheimer’s or another dementia. My work in Congress to increase federal investments in the National Institutes of Health, including funds for Alzheimer’s and brain research, is critical to understand this disease and ultimately find a cure.
