Anggie is a life sciences executive with more than 30 years’ experience. She is currently head of operations for Empirico Inc., an early-stage biotechnology company founded on utilizing huge biological datasets, human genetics and programmable biology to power novel drug discovery and development.
As a 27-year pancreatic cancer survivor, Anggie is inspired to help improve the bleak statistics for pancreatic cancer survival by dedicating time to raising funds and awareness of the disease and being a vocal patient advocate.
In addition to serving on the Sanford Burnham Prebys Community Advisory Board, Anggie is a member of the Survivor Council for The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. She has previously served on the board of directors for Women In Bio, the Volunteer Advisory Council for The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and the Mana de San Diego Advisory Council.
