Gifts from your IRA
Support Sanford Burnham Prebys by donating through your IRA. If you are 70½ or older and have a traditional Individual Retirement Account (IRA), you are eligible to make a gift from your IRA to Sanford Burnham Prebys. The transferred funds count towards your annual Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and you pay no income tax on the distribution, as long as the funds transfer directly from your IRA to Sanford Burnham Prebys.
