This March marks one year since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic—and all of us have been affected. We’ve been working from home, wearing masks and watching our children struggle with remote learning. And some of us and our loved ones may have contracted the disease.

The COVID-19 virus has shown us how important it is for medical researchers to understand, combat and prepare for future pandemics. Sanford Burnham Prebys scientists are part of the solution—fiercely pursuing treatments to minimize the impact of this virus and discover new therapies to prevent and overcome pandemics of tomorrow. Join our esteemed panel of experts to learn about research revelations from the past year, current updates, and strategies for the path forward.

We will cover:
  • Why people respond differently to the virus
  • The potential long-term health impacts of COVID-19
  • The safety of new vaccines and how long protection will last
  • Current research strategies to prepare for future pandemics

Join us, and learn how we can bring life-saving treatments to protect our health.

A Q&A session will follow the presentation and will give you an opportunity to personally connect with our scientists and have your questions answered.
