Doug Battista's Bio
Doug Battista is a human resources executive with leadership expertise across diverse industries and organizations including large multinational companies and small private equity-backed businesses. He has extensive experience in building talent programs and leading companies through organizational design, business transformation, and cultural change.
Doug most recently led the turnaround and change management efforts at Jenny Craig North America, a multi-million-dollar wellness business with 500+ retail locations. Doug and his team built and executed the company’s service and operating models and developed complementary talent, compensation, and performance programs. As a result, the organization transformed from a loss-making entity to a highly profitable business that led to a successful private equity exit.
As Chief HR Officer for Curves Jenny Craig, Doug led the human resources merger and integration activities of a newly formed global company with two brands and operations in North America, Europe and Australia. Prior to his work at Jenny Craig, Doug and his team led the overhaul of the talent acquisition department at Nestlé USA and built the company’s human resources analytics operation. Doug has also held operations and human resources leadership roles at Aramark Corporation and The Walt Disney Company.
Doug earned his Master of Science degree in organizational behavior from the University of Hartford in Connecticut and his bachelor’s degree from Niagara University in New York.
